What to Expect on Exam Day

On exam day, IC Bridge ensures that all students experience a structured, secure, and supportive assessment environment, regardless of whether the examination is conducted at a partner centre or through a secure online platform.

Students should expect:

  • A clearly defined exam schedule, including start times, duration, and permitted materials

  • Identity verification procedures prior to exam access

  • Detailed instructions on exam format, submission process, and time management

  • Continuous supervision by trained invigilators or remote proctors

  • A calm, fair, and distraction-free environment that supports student performance

All IC Bridge examinations follow standardized regulations to ensure consistency across locations. Students will be informed in advance of academic integrity expectations, prohibited materials, and conduct guidelines. In the event of technical issues or unforeseen circumstances, immediate support and contingency measures are in place to minimize disruption and ensure fairness.

Results

IC Bridge assessment outcomes reflect a holistic evaluation of student performance. Depending on the subject and grade level, results may include:

  • Final examinations

  • Coursework and project-based assessments

  • Continuous formative and summative evaluations

Once assessments are completed, results undergo a quality assurance and verification process to ensure accuracy, fairness, and consistency. Official results are released within the published timeframe through secure student and parent portals.

Academic advisors are available to:

  • Explain individual subject results and overall performance

  • Provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement

  • Advise on academic progression, subject advancement, or pathway adjustments

  • Guide students on re-sit opportunities or supplementary assessments where applicable

This structured results process ensures transparency and supports informed academic decision-making for students and families.

Private Candidates

IC Bridge accepts private candidates for selected programmes and subjects across Grades 6–12, providing access to internationally aligned assessments for learners who are not enrolled in a full-time IC Bridge programme.

Private candidates must:

  • Meet published eligibility and academic prerequisites

  • Complete formal registration within designated timelines

  • Provide verified identification and supporting documentation

  • Agree to all IC Bridge exam regulations and academic integrity policies

Private candidates are assessed under the same standards, conditions, and quality controls as enrolled students. This includes secure proctoring, standardized marking, and official results reporting. Upon successful completion, private candidates receive formal academic documentation confirming their achievement.

IC Bridge ensures that private candidate assessments maintain the same level of credibility, fairness, and international acceptance as all other IC Bridge examinations.
